Although my photographs cover a wide range of subjects and styles, my most distinctive series uses flowers, food, leaves, plastic, tissue, and many other materials in bottles with different kinds of oils.

In general, I tend to be interested in close-ups and the abstractions that arise from an uncommon view of a common subject. For this purpose I generally use either a telescopic lens at close quarters or a macro lens. In addition to close-ups, I am also interested in reflections, particularly in distorted surfaces and the distorting effect of refractions in water or transmission of light through a translucent medium.

In all these areas I focus on color and the effects of dramatic lighting.
