Jan Singer
Jan Singer attended The Cleveland Art Institute and Western Reserve University. She received her BFA in painting at Memphis College of Art, Memphis, Tn. in 1976. She also attended Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts for several different courses related to glass art and Penland School of Arts and Crafts in North Carolina for courses in Lampworking Glass.
This artist has shown internationally, nationally, and locally. She also has a big following in Jonesboro, Ar. where she shows at Sara Howell’s Art Gallery.
In Memphis she has pieces in the Memphis Brooks Museum and the Memphis College of Art.
