Sue Foell

As an avid oil painter, Sue Foell finds joy painting the beauty all around her, but is especially drawn to portrait and figurative painting. She studied portrait painting for four years with well-known artist, William J. Kalwick, Jr., while living in Houston, TX. Her portraits have gained acceptance into national and regional shows, most notably the Oil Painters of America's 2007 National Exhibition. Sue teaches oil painting at the Memphis Botanic Garden on Tuesday mornings.
